At Bethel during the 1930's he recalls: "(President) Rutherford repeatedly had to repremand me for breaking some rule. One time he gave me some blunt reproof. Next time I saw him he gave me a cheery hello. Being still hurt I muttered a greeting. He said "Watch out Karl...the devil is after you..." In 1950 (President) Nathan Knorr invited me to join the writting comittee. When I told him it did not matter where I served HE REPREMANDED ME...my atitude was due to my poor health...due to my own weakness I had a nervous breakdown....Knorr was older then me..he would express impatients to his younger brothers shortcomings...1974 I was invited to join the Governing body...I NEEDED ENCOURAGEMENT TO ACCEPT by Fredrick Franz...."

  So much pressure to do more even thought he was emotionally weak and not well. Very sad lifestory.

  After the Sunday meeting an over zealous young Elder encourages the cong. with a 2 HOUR clips from JW.ORG! One video showed a young sister battling loneliness not able to find a mate in her hall or area. She thinks about using J.W dating site. But thru advice she decides to get busy pioneering and learning to accept her singleness. DO THEY KNOW how hard it is to find a mate in such a small "fish bowl" as the kingdom hall. All people on this website are doing is trying to obey Jah's law on marriage and still find someone to love. Sad sad CONTROL of an unkind JW.ORG!!

  so my wife has to make some home-made cookies for a work x-mas cookie exchange (i've told her to grab a handful of the receptionists 'cause hers were nice last year).. anyway.

  being a supportive husband i volunteer to help and my definition of "help" is anything to do with chocolate - specifically melting it to dip the cookies in.. "ok", she says, "thanks!".

  You have a problem...we will organise an intervention!!! I know as a former addict...I once ate a whole small container of Nutella spread. I'm a sick man! Also peanut butter cannot be brought into my house....no bread I just use a large spoon I'm a sick unit!
